The 18 mesh canvas is perfect for the fine detail work on the basket weave, and the colors came out even brighter in person than I expected. I finished it in a weekend and it's already hanging by the front door.

The hand-painted detail on this canvas is gorgeous — the little woven texture in the basket really pops once you start stitching. 18 mesh felt intimidating at first but the holes are easy to find and my threads lay so smoothly. Already eyeing another one for my mom.

I've never stitched on 18 mesh before and was worried the holes would be too tiny, but this canvas is actually a joy to work with. The painted basket details are crisp enough that I barely had to guess where the colors go.
