The silk-wool blend is a joy to work with—it's smooth but has enough grip that it doesn't slip on 18 mesh. I've already used half the spool on a detailed piece and the tension holds beautifully.

This color is richer in person than it looked on my monitor. Worked perfectly for blending on a 13 mesh canvas. Just wish it came in a longer yardage length.

The silk-wool blend gives it a lovely sheen and just enough grip for 13 mesh, though the color on my screen ran a bit deeper than what arrived. Four stars because the 10-yard spool is tight if you're stitching a large motif, but for small accents it's a dream to work with.
