For a 13 mesh canvas, this thread covers beautifully without any gaping—the yardage is surprisingly generous for detailed work. The subtle sheen from the silk mix gives it a touch of elegance that plain wool just can't match.

The 10-yard length is just enough for a small project on 18 mesh, and the silk-wool blend has a nice, subtle sheen. The color on my screen was a touch brighter than what arrived, but dye lots are dye lots. It handled smoothly without any fraying, which is what I hoped for.

The silk-wool blend feels lovely in hand, and the color matches the description nicely. It works perfectly on my 13 mesh canvas, I just wish there were a few more yards in the pack.
