I’ve been using this on 18 mesh and the colors really pop against the fabric, though the 10-yard length means you’ll need it for smaller projects or accents. The silk-wool blend gives it a nice, soft sheen without being too slippery to work with.

The blend of silk and wool gives this thread a lovely, subtle sheen that makes the stitching pop. It’s exactly 10 yards, which was just enough for a small detail on my 13-mesh project. I’ll definitely pick up another color for the next piece.

This is the first time I've tried a 50/50 silk-wool blend and wow, it's got just the right amount of sheen and grip for my 18 mesh canvas, the 10-yard spool is the perfect size for a small project.
