The silk-wool blend feels incredibly soft as it glides through 13 mesh, and the 10-yard length is just right for a small project. Colors are rich, though I’d order a bit extra if you’re stitching a larger piece.

Stitching with this on 18 mesh is a dream—the 50/50 silk-wool blend glides through without shredding or twisting. Ten yards was just enough for a small project, and the color depth is gorgeous. Slightly pricier than synthetics, but the sheen is worth it.

The colors on this Cardinal 2553 are richer in person than on screen, and the 10-yard length was just enough for a small 18-mesh project I started this weekend. The silk-wool blend has a nice fuzzy texture that didn't slip off my needle once.
