The blend of silk and wool gives this thread a lovely sheen and soft hand that works beautifully on 18 mesh. I've ordered several colors now and find the thickness consistent for coverage without splitting.

The silk-wool blend feels noticeably softer and more substantial than most threads I’ve used, and it’s held up well through several practice stitches on 13 mesh. Colors are slightly richer in person than on screen, which is a nice bonus.

The 10-yard length is perfect for my 18-mesh project—just enough to finish the section without waste. The 50/50 silk-wool blend glides through the fabric smoothly and has a lovely soft hand.
