Milan Cards - Poppy 2554

The yardage is short but perfect for a detailed 18-mesh project, and the 50/50 silk-wool blend catches the light beautifully. The poppy red came out a touch deeper than my screen showed, but it's still exactly what I wanted for the petals.

The silk-wool blend gives this thread a subtle sheen that makes the poppy colors pop beautifully on my 18-mesh canvas. It's soft enough to pull through smoothly without fraying, which I really appreciate.

The bundle of 10 yards is just enough for a small project, and the non-strandable thread made stitching on 18 mesh a breeze without tangling. The colors are quite rich in person, though I can see they might vary slightly between batches.
