Strandpostamt zu Weihnachten

The blue and white awning over the door is so crisp and inviting, it already makes me smile every time I look at the canvas. I’m a sucker for anything nautical, and this is the perfect blend of Christmas and coastal charm.

I've been stitching this post office scene while listening to ocean wave sounds, and the way the surf meets the snowy shore is beautifully detailed. The tiny mailbox with flags is such a clever touch. This canvas definitely captures the quiet magic of Christmas by the sea.

I was a little worried the post office scene might feel too busy, but the stitching is actually really clear and the sandy colors are so soothing. It’s a perfect project for anyone who loves a quiet coastal Christmas vibe.
