Milan Card - Dragon Fruit 2864

The 50/50 silk and wool blend gives this Dragon Fruit thread a lovely subtle sheen without being too shiny. It glides beautifully through 18-count fabric without fraying. The color is rich and true to the photo on my screen.

This thread has just the right amount of drape and sheen for my dragon fruit cross-stitch project—the silk really makes the pink tones pop against the wool. It wound onto my 18-mesh needlepoint canvas beautifully without any fraying.

I was nervous the colors might look off on 18 mesh, but the green in this Dragon Fruit skein is exactly as vibrant as the picture. The 10-yard length covered a whole small area of my project, and the silk-wool blend gives it a slight sheen that makes the stitching pop beautifully.
