The 50/50 silk and wool blend has a lovely, soft hand that's perfect for my 18-count canvas. I ordered the "Hail 2793" shade and the color is exactly what I expected, even though I knew monitors can vary. It stitches up smoothly and has a nice, subtle sheen that adds depth to the detail work.

This blend of silk and wool is so much softer than standard wool threads, and the 10-yard length was just enough for the small section I was working on. It glides through 18 mesh without any fraying, though the online color was a shade darker than what arrived.
