Wasn't sure a 1.5" minder would hold my heavier needles but the magnet's surprisingly strong. The hard enamel finish feels sturdy, not cheap, and it's stayed put through a whole quilt block already.

The purple and lavender swirl on this thing is way prettier in person than I expected, and it holds my needle tight even when I'm yanking thread through thick fabric. The 1.5" size is perfect, big enough to find easily on my project bag but not bulky.

The purple and lavender blend looks even prettier in person than in the photos, and the hard enamel has a nice smooth finish. Only wish the 1.5" size were a bit bigger since I work on larger hoops, but it holds my needle securely while I switch threads.
