Milan Card - En Garde 2849

I was a bit nervous about the 50/50 silk-wool blend working on 18 mesh, but it glides through beautifully without fraying. The color is exactly what I hoped for based on the dye lot description.

The silk-and-wool blend feels wonderfully substantial in hand, and the yardage is just right for a small 18-mesh project. My only gripe is the dye lot variance between skeins, but the texture alone makes it worth the price.

The 50/50 silk-wool blend has a lovely soft sheen that catches the light beautifully on 18 mesh. It's worked up exactly as expected with no splitting, and the yardage was just right for my small project.
