I was pleasantly surprised by how well this thread works with 13 mesh canvas, the coverage is perfect. The sheen from the silk is gorgeous without being flashy.

The 50/50 silk and wool blend gives it a soft, slightly fuzzy hand that's perfect for 18 mesh — stitches pick up cleanly and the non-strandable twist stays put. I've already ordered a second skein in another dye lot; the color depth is lovely and it's holding up well as I work.

The color is so much richer in person than on my screen, a deep red that pops against the pale linen I’m stitching on. It glides through 18 mesh without fraying, and that silk-wool blend feels like a treat every time I pull it through.
