The blend of silk and wool gives this thread a lovely sheen without being too shiny, and it worked perfectly on my 13-mesh canvas. Found the color true to the description, though I’d suggest ordering a bit extra if you’re doing a large area—those 10 yards go faster than you think.

I’ve been looking for a thread that blends nicely on 18 mesh, and this silk-wool mix lays flat without twisting. The kelp hue has subtle depth that changes slightly in different light, which really brings out the stitching.

The color is a perfect deep kelp green, and it works beautifully on 18 mesh without splitting. Since it’s only 10 yards, I got exactly enough for a small project—just wish the dye lot was a touch more consistent.
