粉彩玫瑰盤

I've stitched a lot of florals but the shading in these petals is something else, so many subtle color changes. The needlepoint canvas itself has a nice tight weave that keeps the stitches even. It's going straight onto my dining room wall.

The needlepoint stitching on the rose details is so clean, and the colors really do have that classic Famille Rose look. I've been slowly stitching it on my lunch breaks and it's become the calmest part of my day.

I bought this as a gift for my mom who collects chinoiserie, and the needlepoint stitching on the roses is so fine it genuinely looks hand-painted. Stitching the pink and gold petals took me longer than expected, but the finished plate was worth every minute.
