Benjamin ★★★★★ Oct 23, 2026

I was worried the silk-wool blend might be too delicate for my 18 mesh canvas, but it glides through without fraying. The subtle sheen of this Kingfisher 2814 really makes the feather in my pattern pop. I grabbed two packs to be safe.

The lilac-blue of this Kingfisher shade is exactly what I needed for a hummingbird’s wing on 18 mesh. It blends beautifully and doesn’t fuzz up like pure silk can. Really happy with the color accuracy from the online photo.

I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth this thread feels while stitching—the silk and wool blend gives it a nice glide through 18 mesh. The Kingfisher 2814 color is vibrant and exactly what I hoped for based on the description. Will definitely buy more yards for future projects.
