Milan Card - Lullaby 2836

The blend of silk and wool gives this thread a beautiful, subtle sheen that makes the lullaby color pop perfectly. It glides smoothly through 18 mesh without any fraying, which I really appreciated. Just be aware the actual shade is slightly deeper than what I saw on screen.

This 50/50 silk-wool blend feels incredibly smooth to stitch with, and the Lullaby color is a perfect soft grey for my 18-mesh ornament. I was worried the non-strandable fiber would be stiff, but it glides through the canvas beautifully. Exactly what I needed for a delicate project.

The color leans a bit warmer in person than on my screen, but the silk-wool blend stitches up so smoothly on 18 mesh. Ten yards was just enough for a small project, though I wish it came in longer skeins.
