Milan Card - Swell 2698

The 50/50 silk-wool blend gives this thread such a lovely, subtle sheen that really makes the stitches pop on my 18-mesh project. The 10-yard hank was just enough to finish a small section of a detailed design.

The 10-yard length is perfect for a small project on 18 mesh, and the colors really pop in person. It’s soft but has enough body to hold its shape while stitching, which I didn’t expect from a 50/50 silk-wool mix. Definitely ordering another dye lot once I run out.

The silk-wool blend has a really nice texture that doesn't tangle easily while stitching. I used it on 18 mesh and the coverage is perfect, though the color is slightly richer in person than what I saw on screen.
